WHAT YOU NEED
1/2 medium sized carrot
1/4 cup chopped beetroot
1/4 cup water
HOW TO MAKE
1. Wash carrot and beetroot in running water thoroughly.
2. Peel off the skin. Cut in small pieces and transfer to a pressure cooker.
3. Add water. Seal the lid and cook it for 4 whistles on low flame
4. once the pressure is released, open the cooker and transfer Beet-Carrot to a blender and blend. To get the desired consistency, add water (used for cooking) while blending.
# Beetroot takes a longer time to soften. Check the beetroot before finally blending the mixture.
# Steam is a good option as it softens the food while retaining all the nutrients. More than that, it becomes easier on the tiny tummy to digest.
