This is a query that comes often from New Parents as how do I build time for my self-care.
What is self care?
Does it necessarily mean to be at the parlour or spa the whole day? With healthy habits in daily life and in your household, self care can be quick, simple and easily applied… A cup of hot tea/coffee when baby naps, fresh air early morning (take your baby in a stroller), digital detox half an hour before sleep and after waking up (even for an hour a day whenever possible) , clean eating (include 2 bowls of veggies a day), walk 5k-10k steps a day, regular AM-PM skin care routine.
Well of course, I do get a professional massage or a facial done when I can and then I adapt it to mom life : hire a service that comes home scheduled during Inaaya’s nap time.
